Decorative bookplate (some with marker on them) for "The Charles S. Boyer Memorial Library" affixed to all four front pastedowns, reinforced hinges, faint dampstain on bottom corners of volume two, extremities rubbed, still a very good but incomplete set. Volume 1: Greece, Turkey in Europe, Rumania, Servia, Montenegro, Italy, Spain, and Portugal; Volume 2: France and Switzerland; Volume 3: Austria-Hungary, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands; Volume 4: The British Isles. Lacking Volume 5. Philadelphian Charles S. Boyer was a prominent U.S. Diatomist and member of The Academy of Natural Sciences.
