Neat, contemporary gift inscription at the top of the title page, small name stamp inked out on second fly, spine a little sunned and the extremities a bit used, a sound and attractive, very good copy. Account of a reporter who spent a year travelling as a casual laborer from Gibraltar to the Bosphorous. Some of Meriwhether's accounts appeared in newspapers ofthe day, and in an official report he filed with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
