Bookplate of author and book collector Eric Quayle on the front pastedown, slight sunning at the crown else fine in very near fine dustwrapper with a very small chip at the crown and a slight splash on the rear panel. The first book of the Poldark series about 18th Century Cornwall, and the basis for the excellent BBC miniseries. A very scarce title, a cheaply made wartime production that seldom appears in fine condition.
