Small tear on front fly, long tear on p.21 but with no loss, a couple of small stains in the text, else an attractive, very good copy of this young adult novel, purportedly based on the career of Ed Walsh. The novel stars an over-the-hill alcoholic pitcher who salvages his career by developing the spitball.
