Reprint. Some spotting on front board, else near fine in in fine dustwrapper with a small chip on the front panel. Basis for several films, most notably the 1942 version with Randolph Scott, Marlene Dietrich, and John Wayne. Frontispiece is a photo of Anna Q. Nilsson and Milton Sills from the 1923 film version directed by Lambert Hillyer.
