Janine Is French First edition. Small octavo, blue cloth, dustwrapper illustrated by Vasiliu. Spine cocked, otherwise a fine copy in somewhat nicked and slightly soiled dustwrapper, missing a large piece at bottom half of spine. Alexander's long-time friend Carl Karsch's copy with his ownership signature on the front free endpaper. Alexander and Karsch worked in a bank together in the 1950s. [BTC #96181] |
