JACKSON, Charles

The Lost Weekend

First edition. A fine and bright copy, lacking the dustwrapper. Probably the best, and certainly the most influential novel about alcoholism ever written, and basis for arguably the best film on the subject as well. The film won Oscars for Best Picture, Director (Billy Wilder), Actor (Ray Milland) and Screenplay (Wilder and Charles Brackett).
