Five psychiatric case histories by a Baltimore psychologist, one of the narratives was the basis for the 1962 Hubert Cornfield film *Pressure Point* with Sidney Poitier, Bobby Darin, and Peter Falk. Linder was also the author of *Rebel Without a Cause*.
