[Manuscript of] Afrikan Revolution: A Poem

Autographed Manuscript Draft Signed. A long poem, published by Baraka's own publishing company. Eight hand-numbered legal-sized pages, tightly hand written on rectos only. Corners creased, a couple dozen corrections in both pen and pencil, most significantly excising the final three lines of the poem. Signed by Baraka at a later date. Housed in a file folder with label handwritten by Baraka: "'Afrikan Revolt' Handwritten & Book 73." With a first edition of the published book: stapled wrappers. 24mo. (4" x 5.5"). Fine. Signed by Baraka at a later date (at the same time he signed the manuscript), when we purchased the manuscript directly from the poet.
