First edition. Small bookstore label front pastedown, else fine in a very slightly soiled, very near fine, primarily white dustwrapper. Historical romance of old New Orleans featuring Jean Lafitte. Basis for the 1926 MGM film The Eagle of the Sea directed by Frank Lloyd, and featuring Florence Vidor and Ricardo Cortez, with Boris Karloff in a minor role as a pirate. Very scarce, especially in jacket.
