First edition. Fine in near fine, price-clipped dustwrapper with very light wear. The world of a widower's daughter is thrown into an unroar when her father plans to remarry, she falls for the owner of a pet farm. The Georgia-born Peggy Gaddis Dern wrote under both the names Peggy Gaddis and Peggy Dern. This copy Inscribed by the author to her sister and brother-in-law: "To Goldie & Alfred, with my love, Peggy." A nice association in an attractive copy.
