Double Jeopardy First edition. Near fine with light wear to the boards, some darkening to the pastedown gutters from the binder's glue, and a small owner stamp on the front fly, in near fine dustwrapper with mild rubbing and a little offsetting to the front flap from the same owner stamp. The first of Goldsmith's three mysteries, predating his classic Detour by one year. The jacket publicity makes some comparisons of this novel to The Postman Always Rings Twice. Very scarce, particularly in this condition. [BTC #89756] |
