First edition. Introduction by Arthur Hopkins. Pencil ownership signature of playwright and author Leo B. Pride, and very slight offsetting from a clipping, both on the front endpapers, still a lovely, fine copy in fine, very slightly age-toned dustwrapper. The author's very uncommon second play, which featured the celebrated Laurette Taylor, opened to mixed reviews, and lasted 73 performances. The play was heavily revised, and republished three years later. A superior copy.
