First edition, and photoplay edition. Owner name on the front fly, cheap pages browned, as always, and a small spot on the front board, thus very good in near fine dustwrapper with internal repair, a small nick and tear at the crown near the front panel, and a small faint stain on the rear panel. Novelized by the author from his own screenplay for the film, the book and jacket features stills from the 1945 film directed by Frank Tuttle, and starring Linda Darnell, Barbara Britton, Otto Kruger, and Greg McClure in the title role. Scarce in nice condition.
