Playscript. Quarto. Mimeographed sheets, screw bound into plasticized wrappers with title in gilt. Marked "Draft," and numbered in hand as "No. 45." Pencil signature of actress Beverly Bentley, Mailer's third wife, on the title leaf, another pencil name erased, a few light pencil notes in the text, binder worn at edges, a very good copy of the script for Mailer's first play, later published by the Dial Press. Ex-Carter Burden. Rare.
