First Edition. Pages slightly browned else fine in wrappers and tissue dustwrapper as issued. Advance Review Copy marked "S.P." on the title page, and with publisher's leaflet laid in. A collection of essays, nicely Inscribed by the author on the half-title: "a Monsieur Farry (or Farny) en sincere hommage Albert Camus." Camus, the second youngest author to be awarded the Nobel Prize (the youngest being Rudyard Kipling), died in a car crash when he was 46 and his signature is uncommon.
