Phantom First American edition (and the first edition in English). Translated by Bayard Quincy Morgan. Fine in not quite very good dustwrapper with several shallow chips and tears, and tanning at the spine. The German Nobel laureate's second novel for adults. It was made into a long-considered "lost," but now recently found film adapted by Thea Von Harbou (of Metropolis fame) and directed by F.W. Murnau (in the same year he directed Nosferatu). A presentable copy. [BTC #84810] |
