A poet is suspected of a series of murders in a Greenwich Village tenement. Author's rare first book, released by an obscure publisher. Fischer, an excellent hardboiled novelist, flourished writing pulp stories, hardcovers, and later, paperback originals. This title has become nearly unobtainable.
