First edition. A little foxing to the page edges, else fine in near fine dustwrapper with a small chip on the rear panel, and a little soiling. The author's uncommon second novel, about a busted stockbroker, his lovely but neglected wife, a prize-fighter and what they get up to. Better-known for his mysteries, this novel seems to shade more towards romance. A very nice copy.
