First English edition with illustrations by Robin Jacques. Good copy with dampstaining to the bottom of the boards in very good dustwrapper with stains on interior, some foxing, and mild edgewear . Basis for two different films; the 1978 Italian Il Ritorno di Casanova, starring Giulio Bosetti, and the 1992 French film Le Retour de Casanova, starring Alain Delon.
