Hardcover. First edition in English. Translated by Angus Davidson. Fine in fine dustwrapper with very light wear. Comic novel, originally published in Italy in 1934, by a writer who started his career as an Italian futurist poet. Filmed in Italy in 1944 by Ferdinando Maria Poggioli as *Le Sorelle Materassi.* Poggioli's final film, he committed suicide soon after completion. Scarce in nice condition.
