First editions. Rebound at a very early date in uniform bindings. Rebacked, labels removed from each spine, internally fine. The Marvelous Land of Oz is Signed by the author on the recto of the frontispiece illustration: "Very Sincerely Yrs, L. Frank Baum." Queen Zixi of Ix has a 1905 Autograph Letter Signed "L. Frank Baum" tipped-in before the frontispiece illustration. The letter has been trimmed slightly to fit the book, affecting one letter, and just touching the top of his printed name in the letterhead.
