First edition thus, published on behalf of the Daily Telegraph National Bands Fund (originally published in a 1909 limited edition). Quarto. Sixteen mounted color plates by W. Heath Robinson (considered among the best work of his career). A touch of foxing to the front fly, else a near fine copy, lacking the dustwrapper. Laid in is a four page speech by Kipling, "National Bands," the front leaf of the speech has offset, else fine.
