The Subway: A Play in Nine Scenes First edition. A small and faint stain on the foredge else fine in fine dustwrapper with the price blacked out on the front panel. A play about the humanistic aspirations of a young girl suppressed by the cold mechanistic society, as symbolized by the subway. The original, and only, Broadway production ran for 35 performances and featured Jane Hamilton in the lead. A very nice copy. [BTC #75753] |
