First edition. Fine in an attractive, very good dustwrapper with a small chip at the crown, and a larger triangular chip on the rear panel. Disgraced Indian scout runs the gauntlet between hostile Apache and the love of a half-breed woman. Basis for the 1955 film directed by William Witney, and featuring John Payne, Faith Domergue, Rod Cameron, and Slim Pickens. A very scarce title.
