A scathing indictment of big business and ad agencies, basis for the 1947 Jack Conway-directed film with an all-star cast that featured Clark Gable, Deborah Kerr (her first American film), Sydney Greenstreet, Adolphe Menjou, Ava Gardner, Keenan Wynn, and Edward Arnold.
