(MANTLE, Mickey)

1968 New York Yankees Scorecard and Official Program

Stapled wrappers. Modest wear, a few pencil doodlings, small light stains to the lower margins of a couple pages, a good plus copy. Cover features an action shot of Mel Stottlemyre. This copy has an insert with the Minnesota Twins lineup, and has been lightly, if a little sloppily, scored in pencil by a Yankee's beat reporter for the game of 10 August 1968. The Yankees lost the game, their only runs coming on Mickey Mantle's two solo home runs off Twins pitcher Jim Merritt, the 530th and 531st of his career (total of 536), and the last multi-home run game of his career.
