First American edition. Fine in fine dustwrapper with one tiny tear. Basis for the unusual 1972 film written and directed by Alastair Reid and starring Peter Finch as a spineless bureaucrat and Shelley Winters and the shrill wife who literally drives him insane. A very bright copy.
