First edition, first issue. Spine lettering faded, but readable, moderate overall soiling, a near very good copy lacking the rare dustwrapper. The best known and most popular novel by the author who, as much as any other, created the uniquely American genre "the Western." Basis for the great silent film in which Texas Ranger Tom Mix is wronged by shady judge Warner Oland and devotes his life to revenge.
