(Play Script) Strip for Action Mimeographed sheets bradbound in Rialto wrappers. Title page rubberstamped: "Confidential Copy," and apparently they meant it, because below that it is stamped: "No Kidding." Some modest wear to the wrappers, still a nice, very good example. A wartime screwball comedy about a burlesque troupe's invasion of an Army base intending to raise the spirits of the soldiers. The play originally appeared in 1942 and ran for 110 performances, featuring a large cast that included Keenan Wynn and Jack Albertson. By the playwrights who collaborated on Arsenic and Old Lace and Life With Father. Scarce. [BTC #70936] |
