First American edition. Upper edges very faintly sunned, else fine in a near fine dustwrapper with two short tears, internally taped. Author's second and most sought after book. Lambert also scripted the 1965 Robert Mulligan-directed film featuring Natalie Wood in the title role, with Christopher Plummer, Robert Redford, Roddy McDowall, and Ruth Gordon, as Daisy's Mother.
