A lovely copy of the author's first book, and the first entry in her Vampire Chronicles, with a particularly fresh example of the easily worn gold-foil jacket. Basis for the Neil Jordan film with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas, Stephen Rea, Christian Slater, and 12 year-old Kirsten Dunst in her breakthrough role.
