First edition. Ownership signature of Cameron Largille, else fine in an attractive, very good dustwrapper with shallow chipping at the crown. The previous owner has inked "Pulitzer Prize Play 1929" on the front panel of the jacket. Signed by cast member John M. Qualen, as well as Inscribed by him: "To my dear friend & Pal Cam. John M. Qualen." Qualen left Broadway soon after for Hollywood to reprise his role in the King Vidor screen version of Street Scene, and stayed to appear in over 140 other films including Casablanca, Arrowsmith, Our Daily Bread, The Farmer Takes a Wife, Meet Nero Wolfe, I, the Jury, Donovan's Reef, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and The Sons of Katoe Elder. As indicated by the previous owner, Street Scene won the Pulitzer Prize for 1929. Very scarce.
