First edition. Fine in fine dustwrapper with some light scratches to the lamination on the rear panel. Author's second and most sought after book. Lambert also scripted the 1965 Robert Mulligan-directed film featuring Natalie Wood in the title role, with Christopher Plummer, Robert Redford, Roddy McDowall, and Ruth Gordon, as Daisy's Mother. Gordon, who was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, won a Golden Globe, as did Redford for Most Promising Newcomer. A lovely copy of a very uncommon book.
