First edition. Octavo. Green printed wrappers. 8pp. Covers very slightly soiled, but still near fine. Publisher's prospectus laid in. First separate edition of the first poem in Mid-American Chants (1918), with a brief biographical notice at the back. Not in Sheehy & Lohf, nor in Ray Lewis White's Sherwood Anderson: Fugitive Pamphlets and Broadsides, 1918-1940, nor in the later "Additions to the Bibliography" of Sherwood Anderson by Charles E. Modlin et al. OCLC locates only three copies: at William and Mary, Columbia, and University of Texas, Ransom Center. Rare.
