Reprint. Early Doubleday Page reprint in A.L. Burt dustwrapper, apparently as issued. Bottom of the boards rubbed, else fine in very near fine dustwrapper. An attractive copy of the first novel in the author's Queenborough Trilogy, novels of manners modeled on her home town of Richmond, Virginia. Considered some of her best work, she also won the 1942 Pulitzer Prize for In This Our Life. A very nice copy.
