Early reprint. A small stain on the front board, else fine in very good dustwrapper with chipping at the crown and a corresponding small stain on the front panel. This copy Inscribed to mystery writer Rex Stout: "To Rex Stout, here's what I was busy about -- Ben Hecht." Hecht's book-long attack on anti-Semitism. Hecht and Stout were both active in progressive writers' groups.
