Item Info

KING, Stephen

The Stand

First edition. A very faint stain to the bottom edge, still fine in fine dustwrapper with a very little rubbing. Publisher's complimentary copy, so stamped on the front pastedown. An attractive, tight and square copy of a book that is one of the worst examples of the poor manufacturing employed by Doubleday in the 1960s and '70s. Generally encountered badly worn, collectible copies are difficult to find. Basis for the well-received mini-series with Gary Sinese, Ruby Dee, and many others.
