First edition. Old bookstore circulating library sheet affixed to the front pastedown, else fine in very good dustwrapper with a chip at the foot and slight spotting to the spine. WWI veteran receives strange messages and travels to the snowy northern Michigan woods, meets Ethel Carew whose father was killed in action, and was probably the source of the messages. An adventure-mystery story.
