Hardcover. First edition. Fine in attractive, very good photographic dustwrapper with several internal repairs and a long tear along the spine fold. Woman betrays her husband, he faces dilemma. Novelized from the popular play, and filmed in 1917 by Ralph Ince with Florence Reed and Frank Mills. The plot was altered to reflect the stock market crash (he loses their wealth, she must react) for the 1930 remake by William Nigh with Conrad Nagel and Catherine Dale Owen (now a lost film).
