A Savant's Vendetta First English edition (previously published in the U.S. as The Uttermost Farthing). Cheap paper browned, small spot on the front board, a very good or better copy. This copy Inscribed by Freeman: "P.M. Stone from R. Austin Freeman with cordial good wishes. 3rd April 1939." One of the author's scarcest titles, presumably so because of the execrable leftover wartime paper used in its manufacture. Very seldom found, and never signed or inscribed. [BTC #54833] |
