The Suffragette Movement Stated "Reissue," appears to be the second printing of the American edition. Fine in slightly spine faded, near fine dustwrapper with very light wear. First published in 1931. E. Sylvia Pankhurst, a famous suffragette, was the daughter of the British suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, whose 40-year campaign achieved success in the year of her death (1928) when British women obtained voting equality. This is the major history of that movement. Very scarce in jacket. [BTC #54446] |
