BENET, William Rose

The Falconer of God

First edition. Bookplate of Clifford Shattuck Leonard, topedge of the fragile papercovered spine a bit worn, else very near fine in very good or better dustwrapper with slight loss at the crown and a chip on the rear panel, barely affecting any text. Nicely Inscribed by Benet to Leonard with a passage from a poem. Laid in is a brief note from Benet sending the book along to Leonard, who was best known (if known at all) for his translations of chemistry texts from Swedish to English. One of 1000 copies of the author's second book, scarce in jacket.
