Comedies of Words and Other Plays Third printing of the American edition (first published in 1917). Slight spotting to the boards, a very good copy in good dustwrapper, heavily foxed on the spine, depicting Roland Young in a New York production of one of the plays. Curiously, this third printing was used by the publisher as an Advance Review Copy with slip laid in, presumably to stimulate sales after the book had been out of print for some years. Five short plays by the Austrian author whose novel Der Traumenovelle was the basis for the final Stanley Kubrick film, Eyes Wide Shut. [BTC #47629] |
