The Sea Gull First American edition and the first full text of the play in English (a 1905 publication synopsized the play). Large octavo. Papercovered boards with paper label on the spine and front board, probably issued without a jacket. Corners a little bumped, near fine. Issued in the Poet Lore Play series, this is the New Year, 1913 issue of the magazine Poet Lore, bound up by the publisher. An odd construction, and genuinely rare. [BTC #47449] |
