Barron Ixell: Crime Breaker First edition. Offsetting to the edges of the endpapers, else fine in an attractive, Arthur Hawkins-designed dustwrapper that has been rebacked with brown paper along the top and bottom extremities. The character of Barron Ixell appeared in pulp magazines from 1927 through 1932. This is the only collection of stories featuring the sophisticated and handsome amateur detective who is pitted here against such memorable villains as Monsieur Satan, and the Circle of Terror, a gang of thieves. Scarce in jacket. [BTC #47324] |
