First edition. Slight offsetting to the endpapers, else fine in an attractive dustwrapper with several internal repairs. Post's work is considered by many, Howard Haycraft and Ellery Queen among them, second only to Poe in the annuls of American detective fiction. He died the year after this was published in a fall from a horse.
