Lost Morning First edition. Slightly cocked, near fine in attractive, very good plus dustwrapper with small nicks at the corners and some slight fading on the front panel. Inscribed by the author in pencil: "To Aunt Alice with deep Regard from Du Bose Heyward." At the time Heyward was also enjoying great success with the opera Porgy and Bess, his famous collaboration with the Gershwin brothers. A pleasant association copy. [BTC #46746] |
