First edition. Light owner name blended in with the figured front fly, and a name neatly erased on the half-title else fine in very near fine dustwrapper with a couple of tiny smudges on the spine. A nicer than usual copy of this Edgar Award-winner, the second Joe Leaphorn mystery. Ultimately it seems likely that this will be the book for which Hillerman is best remembered.
