First edition. A couple of tiny tears at the crown, a near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper with slight chipping at the spinal extremities. Jacket has splendid wraparound art of a western barroom scene. Forest Ranger Mills is the only "law" within 80 miles of a wild Wyoming mining and lumber outpost. Gill, British by birth, served ten years in the U.S. Forest Service and appeared in almost forty films between 1935 and 1970.
